Near real-time traffic visibility

AWS WAF gives you near real-time traffic visibility through Amazon CloudWatch metrics. You have granular control over the metrics, allowing you to monitor from the rule level to the entire inbound traffic.

AWS Shield’s managed DDoS protection provides always-on detection and automatic inline mitigation. With Shield Standard, you are protected against the most common network and transport layer DDoS attacks. With Shield Advanced, you can call the AWS Shield Response Team (SRT), who is available 24/7 to help you mitigate more complex DDoS attacks.

Real-time metrics and reports

AAdvanced subscribers have access to real-time reports with AWS CloudWatch metrics and attack diagnostics. You can also view a summary of prior attacks from the console.
