Cloudvisor is officially an AWS Managed Services Provider (MSP). Here’s what that means, how we earned it, and why it matters for the companies we work with.
What Is the AWS MSP Designation?
The AWS Partner Network includes thousands of companies worldwide. The MSP designation sits among the most rigorous of the specific competencies AWS awards – it’s not something you apply for and receive. AWS evaluates partners across security practices, operational standards, service delivery, and customer outcomes, and awards it only to those who consistently meet the bar.
In simple terms: it’s AWS saying this partner has the expertise and processes to fully manage cloud environments on behalf of customers – not just build on AWS, but run it reliably over time.
How We Earned It
Earning the designation required a formal audit across multiple areas of our operations – security, service delivery, customer outcomes, and more. It took the full Cloudvisor team to get there, and we’re proud of what that represents.
What It Means for Our Customers
For the startups and scaleups we work with, the MSP designation means a few things in practice:
- A higher, independently validated standard of service. AWS doesn’t take our word for it – they verify it. That gives our customers an additional layer of confidence that their cloud environment is in capable hands.
- Access to a partner AWS trusts for end-to-end management. MSP partners are among the select group that AWS recognises as capable of fully owning and operating cloud infrastructure on behalf of customers – not just advising on it.
- More leverage with AWS. Working with an MSP partner gives customers access to programs, funding, and support channels that aren’t always available through standard partner relationships.
- Nothing changes for existing customers – except the standard gets higher. If you’re already working with us, you don’t need to do anything differently. The MSP designation is a reflection of how we already operate.
What Cloudvisor Offers as an AWS MSP
As an AWS MSP, we help companies across Europe and beyond manage, optimize, and scale their AWS environments. Whether you’re a startup just getting started on AWS or a scaleup dealing with growing infrastructure complexity, we offer:
- Managed AWS services – ongoing management, monitoring, and optimization of your cloud environment
- AWS cost optimization – identifying and eliminating waste, right-sizing resources, and improving cost predictability
- Security and compliance – implementing enterprise-grade controls, automated scanning, and continuous monitoring
- Migration services – moving workloads to AWS from GCP, Azure, on-premise, or fragmented multi-cloud setups
- Well-Architected Framework Reviews – a structured review of your environment across all six pillars, with a prioritized remediation plan
We work closely with our customers’ engineering teams – not instead of them. The goal is always to give you a reliable, well-run AWS environment and the visibility to understand it.
