The Client
QiSynth s.r.o. is a Czech Republic-based software development company and venture studio building innovative digital products. Their flagship product, DomuHQ, is a comprehensive housing platform launching in February 2026 that connects roommates, hosts, and renters through personality-based matching and compatibility algorithms. By enabling pooled resources, DomuHQ helps users afford better housing in the Czech Republic. The platform goes beyond traditional property listings by focusing on lifestyle compatibility and personality fit, ensuring better long-term matches for shared living situations. QiSynth focuses on building scalable, user centric platforms that solve real-world problems in the Czech and European markets.

``Cloudvisor delivered exactly what we needed. They took our infrastructure
requirements and delivered a rock-solid AWS setup - proper security, monitoring,
the works. They built our Dev environment and gave us clean Terraform code that
we could use to spin up Staging and Production ourselves. The dedicated Slack
channel made collaboration seamless - they were incredibly responsive and helped
facilitate conversations with AWS whenever we needed it. The best part? AWS
funding covered everything. Now we're ready to launch DomuHQ without worrying
about our backend falling over. It's one less thing keeping me up at night. Our COO
and Co-Founder, Lucky Omoruan, even met with the Cloudvisor team at AWS
Cloud Day Prague in October 2025, which solidified a great partnership.``
Challenges
- Time constraints – With a tight launch deadline, the small team couldn’t afford to spend months building AWS infrastructure from scratch
- Migrating from existing provider – Needed to move their MVP stack to AWS with minimal disruption
- Security and compliance requirements – Handling sensitive user data for a housing platform required enterprise-grade security, auditing, and compliance controls
- Need for AWS architecture expertise – While the team had development capabilities, they needed experienced AWS architects to implement enterprise-grade best practices and avoid costly mistakes
- Scalability concerns – Required infrastructure that could support rapid growth across the Czech Republic and European markets
- Limited observability – Without proper monitoring and alerting, troubleshooting issues would be difficult as the platform scaled
- Multi-environment needs – Required a reusable infrastructure pattern to deploy Dev, Staging, and Production environments efficiently
- Operational overhead – A small team needed fully managed services to focus on product development rather than infrastructure maintenance
As QiSynth prepared for the February 2026 launch of DomuHQ, the team needed to move their existing MVP stack to AWS without disrupting development progress. With limited internal capacity for cloud architecture and operations, they required a secure, scalable setup that followed AWS best practices, supported multiple environments, and minimized ongoing maintenance, while still allowing the team to focus on product development.
Solutions
Cloudvisor designed and delivered a production-ready AWS Dev environment for QiSynth through an 80-hour engagement, validating architectural decisions and establishing a secure, scalable foundation for the DomuHQ launch. The work focused on AWS best-practice alignment, reusability, and reducing operational complexity for a small team.
Validation of AWS architecture design
Cloudvisor reviewed QiSynth’s requirements and implemented an AWS architecture aligned with AWS best practices for security, scalability, and reliability.
Reusable Infrastructure as Code setup
A clean Terraform codebase was delivered, enabling QiSynth to consistently deploy Dev, Staging, and Production environments.
Secure and segmented network architecture
A three-tier VPC design was implemented with proper subnet separation, routing, load balancing, and DNS configuration.
Containerized application platform
An Amazon EKS–based application layer was deployed with managed add-ons, autoscaling, and centralized logging.
Built-in security and monitoring
Security, auditing, and monitoring services were integrated from day one to protect sensitive data and ensure visibility.
Managed database implementation
An Aurora PostgreSQL database was deployed with encryption, backups, and secure credential management.
Knowledge transfer and collaboration
Documentation, architecture diagrams, and a dedicated Slack channel enabled efficient collaboration and team enablement.
Overall, Cloudvisor validated QiSynth’s approach, delivered a launch-ready AWS foundation, and provided the tools needed to scale DomuHQ with confidence.
